Message from the President

STAYING CONNECTED GROUNDED IN PURPOSE 

Dear Supporters, 

 One of the most joyous decisions for which I will forever be thankful is accepting the invitation to become a member of Spouses of Houston Barristers. A decision that for the past eleven years has taken me on a tremendous journey with wonderful people who share a passion for philanthropy.  

 It is my honor to serve as the 2024-2026 President of Spouses of Houston Barristers. As the largest chapter of the National Association of Bench and Bar Spouses, we are proud to have continuously supported scholarship and civic engagement for underrepresented law students in the Houston area for over sixty-five years. Our dedication to the advancement of the legal community in our area is undeniable. 

 As a native Houstonian, the importance of serving and enriching my community is rooted deep within me. While leading this organization I plan to stand firmly grounded in our purpose of scholarly advancement. Our scholarship application, now known as Pathways to Justice, is completely digital, reaching more second year and above law students for this opportunity. I can say with pride, we foster connections that lead to enduring professional relationships.
