The Spouses of Houston Barristers held it’s 2011 Barristers’ Ball at the Four Seasons Hotel. This year’s Gala chairs were Sharonda Warner and Yoshida Kirkwood.
Through the generosity of individual supporters and corporate sponsors this event raised over $80,000.
As with previous balls, we strive to continue the legacy of providing support for the legal community by encouraging diversity and inclusion at Houston area law schools. SHB provides scholarship funds for second and third year law students in the Houston area.
Our honorees for the 2011 Ball are members of our community whose contributions continue to promote diversity and inclusion in the Houston legal community. The 2011 honorees were Sott E. Rozzell, Executive Vice President & General Counsel of CenterPoint Enery and The Honorable Zinetta A. Burney, Justice of the Peace for Precinct 7, Place 2.
