Barristers’ Ball 2009
In 2009 the Spouses of Houston Barristers held it’s Barristers’ Ball at the Four Seasons Hotel. Through the generosity of individual supporters and corporate sponsors this was our most successful fundraising year ever, raising over $95,000.
As with previous balls, we strive to continue the legacy of providing support for the legal community by encouraging diversity and inclusion at Houston area law schools. SHB provides scholarship funds for second and third year law students in the Houston area. We are pleased to recognize our 2009 recipients include Camisha Dixon, Shawn Grady, Kenneth Hardin, Lillian Henny, Benjamin James and Robert Williams.
Our honorees for the 2009 Ball are members of our community who contributions continue to promote diversity and inclusion in the Houston legal community. The 2009 honorees were John M. Esquivel, Lonnie L. Johnson, and A. Martin Wickcliff. We hope for continued success and look forward to seeing you at our next biennial Barrister’s Ball on 11.11.11 at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Houston.
